Enluminés is an imaginary plant with three heads, whose open corollas reveal long phallic pistils, dotted with pustules reminiscent of both venom and fungus. With its bright, almost precious colors, it is as seductive as it is disturbing. At its base, vines tightly entwine and connect the three flowers: a gesture of protection, alienation, or prevention? This ambiguous embrace blurs interpretations. The serpentine, almost tribal forms suggest an archaic, vital, but also defensive force. The piece questions the link: does being together mean supporting or constraining each other? In this tension between sensuality and toxicity, between momentum and hindrance, Enluminés stages the ambivalence of life—that which attracts, repels, protects, and threatens all at once.
